Well done to the Town Hall - they've excelled themselves with these lovely images of the village (especially the one on the left) for the 2014 calendars.
Wow! I've tried to translate the meaning of this event - with little success, however, I did pick up on this little ditty - especially the bit regarding "the concept of transparency within the government" lol, lol! Those wishing to know more - check out here. "In the words of Francis Oblaré , Vice President and Head of Open Government and New Technology, the goals are to bring the concept of transparency and citizen participation , facilitate access to btaining the digital certificate , teach and guide citizens to carry out procedures 'online' with its municipalities and eliminate the digital divide latent in our municipalities. " All I can say is that I'll be there to observe and learn!!!!! Well once again the Town Hall has excelled itself and left it until today - three days before the Feria - to produce a programme. Apologies to all our potential visitors to the village - especially those who can't understand Spanish!! The programme (Spanish) is available on the Town Hall´s website. Friday 14 June - for me a day not to miss. At around 5pm the children of the barrio of San Antonio gather to participate in a variety of races, including the famous "Bicyle egg race". When all the races are over the car park becomes a fantastic foam party for all the children (and their grannies!) Not to be missed! |
