The cemetery is worth visiting on the evening of the first of November. The families of the village decorate the graves of their loved ones with flowers and candles - it's magical! Everyone in the village visits the cemetery at some time during the day or night to pay respect to their deceased family members.

Well done to the Town Hall - they've excelled themselves with these lovely images of the village (especially the one on the left) for the 2014 calendars.

The film club starts its new season starts on the 8 November at the Casa de Asperoto. The Canadian film " The Barbarian Invasions " begins at 8pm.

The film tells the story of a man with advanced cancer who has difficulty accepting the reality of his impending death.

The film was awarded in 2004 with the Oscar for best foreign language film, as well as being nominated in the same category at the Golden Globes.

The film will be screened in original French version with Spanish subtitles.

The voices of the books is a group of friends infected by the virus of reading and they want to convey to others their healthy passion. They are convinced that the book is one of the most amazing human inventions and that reading is an act of subversion and resistance.

A free event - which I feel will be very interesting.

A local lady, Lola Castan, is exhibiting her cross stitch and craft work El Apero until the end of October. The opening times for Monday to Friday are 10am to 5.30pm; Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 10am to 2pm then 4pm to 8pm.
